The graduate program in criminal justice prepares students for advancements in the criminal justice profession. All students must complete 21 semester hours (s.h.) of core courses, 15 semester hours of elective courses, and a comprehensive examination. Students can choose to obtain a graduate certificate in security studies (requirements listed below). A student may be admitted into the program either as a resident admission or distance education admission if the requirements are met.
